When we visit a certain country as a foreigner, we must avoid saying certain words when the immigration officer questions at the border. For example, if I visit the United States as a Japanese citizen, I must never say “MAYBE I will stay for 15 days.” The immigration officer immediately assumes that I am intending to stay longer than 15 days or even immigrate into the United States. I am likely to be refused if I answer as such. This has always been the same even before a certain person who is strict about immigrants became the President for the first time.
When you apply for a Business Manager’s visa in Japan, MAYBE is a taboo as well. If you covet this visa, the business you have in your mind must be specific. In other words, you must not say “MAYBE I will run A but might run B if A does not go well. Else, I will run C.” If you write this in the application form, it will immediately be rejected. If you want to succeed in A, please be specific and prove that your prospect is strong.
