1.Position Title: Service Planner (Café Operations)
Job Description:
2.Planning and improving Customer service operations in the café.
3.Supporting Staff members to work together in cooperation.
4.Providing polite service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
5.Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene inside the café.
6.Training and guiding new staff members.
7.Assisting with cashier duties or simple food preparation as needed.
The answer: All of the above.
A certain man who applied for an Engineer/Specialist in Humanities/International Services visa was refused, and he listed these in his statement of reason. His prospective employer wrote that statement of reason. He got hold of me after the Immigration Bureau refused, and insisted that he was eligible. He does not have a college degree. Plus, he can hardly speak Japanese.
“Activities to engage in work that requires skills or knowledge in the fields of science, engineering, or other natural sciences, or in the fields of jurisprudence, economics, sociology, or other humanities, or work that requires thinking or sensibilities based on a foreign culture, conducted based on a contract with a public or private organization in Japan” fall under this visa.
If an applicant has no college degree, the applicant has to have 10 years of experience in engineering or as a specialist in humanities. The applicant needs 3 years of experience in international services.
Japanese people can engage in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 of the above. The owner has little reason to hire anyone from a foreign country for these. Worst of all, the applicant can hardly speak Japanese plus has no practical international experiences, more specifically experience in Japan or anything related to Japan for 10 or 3 years.
5 and 7 are manual labor. If these are listed in a statement of reason, the inspector will be more than pleased to refuse the application.
Any careless description in a statement of reason will be the cause of a devastating consequence. This applicant has been refused once already. Even if he becomes eligible in the future, difficulties have increased for the visa to be issued. Please feel free to contact me for careful analysis of your current situation before applying.
